SolServices announced Mezőtúr in December 2023 as a new project brought into its portfolio. It is the group's first solar park in Hungary built to sell its power entirely on the market, without a KÁT or METÁR support contract. That makes it the most exposed of the Lumen Parks to midday price cannibalisation, and it is where SolServices connected the first part of its battery storage programme.
The park uses bifacial modules on trackers that follow the sun. The tracking system can produce up to 20% more than a fixed installation. Greencells, which built it, put expected generation at about 96,500 MWh a year.
